Timetable & Fees:

Families new to KMC are welcome to have a free trial before enrolling. Email Janet to organise that.

Please note:

• Younger siblings under 12 months accompanying Level 1-3 classes are free.
• Younger siblings 12-24 months accompanying a child in Level 1-3 classes (on full term enrolment) will be charged 50% fees.
• Two siblings enrolled in the same class in levels 1-5 (on full term enrolment) will be charged 1½ fees.
• Twins (on full term enrolment) will be charged at 1½ fees.
• Families with 3 or more children enrolled (on full term enrolment) will receive 25% discount on fees.
• If you miss a session (levels 1-5) we offer a make-up class in a parallel level. The make-up may be used in a following term if the child is fully enrolled in that term. No other credit will be given for absences.
• If you miss a session in levels 6, 7, and Marimba Group, there is no makeup class available. Credit cannot be given for absences as the class still goes ahead and the space allocated for your child cannot be sold to anyone else.
• Sessions cancelled by Kids Music Company will be credited.

KMC Policy:

Care:
Parents/caregivers are responsible for their children at all times while they are in the class or the building. Teachers facilitate the learning and make every effort to inspire the learning of each child. Please respect the learning of other children, as well as the equipment and instruments we use. Fees: New families are welcome to a free trial. Fee payment is due by the second week of each term. Please let us know if you require a different arrangement.

Makeup sessions:
If a session (levels 1-5) is missed due to illness, a parallel session (where available) may be attended. Limit 2 per term, at office discretion. No credit or refund will be made for missed sessions. If KMC cancels a class then credits towards future sessions will be given.

Free Music:
Our music is available on Spotify and YouTube. (add links) You are welcome to access it and share it.

Photos and Videos:
We appreciate that parents/caregivers want to record the precious moments of their child’s learning. You are welcome to take a few photos or a short video of your child only. This footage is only for personal use.

Drinks and Food:
Because movement is integral to our sessions, no food is to be consumed in class. Water bottles are welcome. Breastfeeding as required in the baby sessions is supported.

Shoes:
Since the floor is our learning space, please remove your shoes or wear clean shoes that are suitable for movement.

Siblings:
Siblings in the preschool classes (levels 1-5) may be enrolled in the class for 50% fees. Siblings already fully enrolled in their own KMC class may join in with their sibling’s class, with parent/caregiver supervision.

Re-enrolling:
We open for re-enrolments in the final 2 weeks of the previous term. Spaces are filled on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Please enrol early to avoid disappointment. Payment can be delayed until the new term begins.

Term Dates 2025:

Term 1: Monday 10 Feb till Saturday 12 April  
Term 2: Monday 28 April till Saturday 28 June (no classes Mon 2 June for Kings Birthday)
Term 3: Monday 14 July till Saturday 20 September 
Term 4: Monday 6 October till Thursday 11 December (no classes Mon 27 October for Labour Day)
